The Sugar Cubes

The Sugar Cubes are a custom, deployable, modular lighting system that provide real time, playable, responsive lighting in any environment. The Sugar Cubes were born of an art project in 2012, and eventually refined into a rentable lighting system.

I worked on the system design, fabrication and deployment of the system in each of its prototype phases as well as leading the upgrades, manufacturing and assembly of its most recent 400 unit production run.

I have overseen nearly one-hundered custom deployments of the Sugar Cubes in nearly every major city in the US.
